Description

Juicy, pure, unadorned. A wine that doesn’t need a big stage to show what it can do. When given space, this variety reveals its true nature – clear, precise, and saline, with bright freshness and fine structure.

100 % Souvignier gris - Mitterberg Bianco IGT. White wine. 

Perfect for an aperitif on the terrace. A wine that makes the first sip easy and leaves you wanting more.

Pairs well with classic South Tyrolean dishes: Speck, Schüttelbrot (a type of crispbread), mountain cheese. Or simply – a serving of Mum's Schlutzkrapfen (ravioli).

Eppan, between 270 and 400 m a.s.l. Loamy, calcareous, deep soil with a high content of white dolomite rock.

Carefully handpicked on 16 and 17 August 2022. Gently destemmed, spontaneous fermentation with wild yeasts. Aged for 12 months on full lees in large wooden barrels, followed by 8 months on fine lees in stainless steel. Bottled unfined and unfiltered in May 2024. Further bottle aging followed.
