Description

A wine with tension. Clear and direct – no detours. Fresh herbs, minerality, and a salty finish. Not a show-off. A wine that remains when everything else has faded.

100 % Bronner - Mitterberg Bianco IGT. White wine.

An evening with friends, relaxed around the garden table – easygoing yet special. Also ideal as a companion to food.

A classic barley soup, a trio of dumplings, cabbage salad with speck, or a simple South Tyrolean cold-cut platter.

450 m a.s.l. – Steep slope at the base of the Texel mountain range. Grey, glittering gneiss-schist, extremely rocky and barren.

Bronner is the outlier in our lineup – it doesn’t grow in Eppan, but in Algund near Merano. A steep, south-facing terrace with poor gneiss-schist soil and warm conditions that let Bronner show its full potential.

Hand-harvested in multiple passes between 3 and 13 September 2019. Several hours of skin contact in the press, then gently pressed. Spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts over several weeks. Aged in stainless steel and neutral oak – first on full lees, then fine lees. Bottled unfiltered and unfined in April 2021, with further bottle ageing.
