Description

A wine that isn’t made every year. Only when everything aligns – vintage, ripeness, character – do we bottle this Solaris. Powerful and rounded, with ripe apricot, nutty notes, and a smooth texture. Underpinned by vibrant mineral tension. S.ALT, from the oldest and very first Solaris vines planted in Italy.

100 % Solaris - Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT. White wine. 

Perfect for special evenings – when you take time to consciously explore a glass of wine in all its depth.

Also excellent on its own – mindfully and with focus. Pairs beautifully with rich, buttery dishes like sautéed porcini mushrooms, veal loin, or creamy risotto.

Eppan Berg, near the Ice Holes. Hof Gandberg, 520 m a.s.l. Loamy, calcareous, deep soil with a high content of white dolomite rock.

Carefully handpicked on 26 August 2019. Three days of maceration, then gently pressed. Spontaneous fermentation by native vineyard yeasts. Fermented and aged in a neutral 1000 L wooden barrel. After 21 months, transferred to stainless steel. Bottled unfined and unfiltered in May 2022. Further bottle aging followed.
